This is a part-time, virtual position that allows you to work directly with students who need specialized instructionwithout needing to relocate. Job Details: - Tailored Instructional Design: Develop and implement personalized instructional plans and materials for visually impaired students.
- Individual and Group Teaching: Offer direct teaching and support to visually impaired students, both one-on-one and in small groups.
- Ongoing Assessment: Monitor student progress and modify instructional approaches to meet their changing needs.
- Collaborative Support: Partner with classroom teachers, parents, and educational professionals to provide well-rounded support for students.
- Technology and Adaptation: Recommend and integrate assistive technologies and adaptive strategies to optimize learning experiences.
Qualifications: - Valid Certification/Licensure: Must hold a Teacher for the Deaf and Hard of Hearing certification or licensure in Wisconsin
- Masters Level Degree in Education for Teaching Deaf Students.
- Preferred Experience: Experience working with visually impaired students is highly preferred.
- Specialized Skills: Proficiency in instructional strategies and assistive technologies for visually impaired students.
- Communication Skills: Strong communication and interpersonal abilities for effective collaboration with students, families, and staff.
